Town of Jay Officials received word at 2:56 p.m. from the New York State Department of Health that the Boil Water Order issued to the Au Sable Forks Water District has been lifted. Kristen M. Sayers, District Director, stated “The Boil Water Order is no longer necessary based on satisfactory chlorine residuals in the system and satisfactory bacteriological sample results”.
