Immediate Opening

Distinguishing Features:
Administer/Enforce the NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code and Enforce Local Laws; Maintain Safety/Health Standards as mandated by NYS; Issue, deny or revoke Building Permits and Certificates of Occupancy; Perform On-Site Investigations.

Minimum Qualifications:
1) Must be willing to become certified and successfully fulfill all training requirements according to N.Y.S Codes Enforcement & Administration
2) Knowledge of Construction and Principals
3) Blue Print Experience
4) Town of Jay Residency Requirement
